KG College of Arts and Science organised a workshop on "Conservation of Medicinal Plants using Appropriate Rural Technology and Indigenous Knowledge to empower rural communities, students, farmers, and women's self-help groups.
The workshop focused on nursery techniques, organic cultivation, seed preservation, value addition, and documentation of traditional knowledge. Resource persons Dr. Mary Josephine, former Principal and Professor of Botany, and Dr. A. J. Rajesh, Director of Operations, Abundita Natural Pvt. Ltd., shared valuable insights by blending indigenous wisdom with scientific approaches.
