75% & above
A minimum of 75% attendance is mandatory to appear for End Semester Examinations (ESE).
65% – 74%
Students with 65%–74% attendance may be permitted on medical grounds with condonation and payment of fees.
55% – 64%
Students with 55%–64% attendance cannot appear for current semester exams, but may continue with conditions and appear later upon meeting combined attendance requirements.
Below 55%
Students below 55% must discontinue and rejoin the same semester in the next academic year with approvals.

Students must register for examinations within the stipulated time and ensure eligibility. Hall tickets must be obtained before exams and carried daily.

Entry to the examination hall is strictly regulated, and candidates must adhere to timing protocols.

Only blue or black ink pens are permitted. Electronic devices, unauthorised materials, and malpractice are strictly prohibited.

Candidates must follow all instructions provided in answer booklets and maintain discipline within the examination hall.

Strict silence must be maintained, and all answer scripts must be submitted before leaving. Violations may result in disciplinary action.
Malpractice during the CIA results in zero marks.
During End Semester Examinations, penalties range from cancellation of papers to suspension and debarment depending on the severity of the offence.
Serious violations such as impersonation, possession of electronic gadgets, threatening officials, or substance abuse may lead to expulsion, cancellation of results, or legal action.
The Examination Committee holds the authority to decide penalties, and its decision is final.

Students may apply for revaluation or a photocopy of answer scripts within five working days of result publication.

Revised marks are issued only if improvement is observed. Revaluation follows strict guidelines, including re-assessment if discrepancies exceed 15%.

Results are typically communicated within 15 days.

Regular students receive additional communication, while no individual communication is provided for alumni.

Convocation marks the successful completion of academic programmes. Following the convocation conducted by Bharathiar University, the college organises its own ceremony to distribute degree certificates.
