The Department of Management Studies at KG College of Arts and Science proudly launched its flagship Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) programme in 2009. Today, it stands as a dynamic and industry-aligned programme that blends strong academic foundations with real-world exposure. Designed for the leaders of tomorrow, the curriculum includes Traditional Practices(from Indian Knowledge Sytems), Modern AI technolgies and goes beyond classrooms, bringing learning to life through case studies, live projects, workshops, field visits, business simulations, and leadership-driven activities. Students don’t just study management, they experience it.

Dr. Prabha D brings over two decades of experience in academia, with a strong passion for mentoring and inspiring future management professionals. She has contributed significantly to curriculum design as a member of the Board of Studies at Bharathiar University and Nirmala College for Women. In addition, her roles as an Inspection Commission member and academic audit expert reflect her active involvement in quality assurance. Dr. Prabha has a robust portfolio of publications - books, book chapters, conference proceedings and research articles in reputed national and international journals , reflecting her commitment to advancing knowledge in management and related fields.

About the Industry Partner — KGM
KGM is an industry training organisation with strong expertise in digital marketing education. Their trainers are active practitioners — professionals who plan and execute live campaigns across Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and YouTube — bringing that real platform experience directly into the classroom. Through their partnership with the Department of Commerce and Management at KGCAS, KGM delivers the full Digital Marketing Lab curriculum across four active semesters, followed by internship facilitation and placement support.
About the Digital Marketing Lab
An industry-integrated lab exclusively for BBA and BBA Computer Applications students, run entirely by KGM industry professionals. Students progress through digital marketing fundamentals, social media marketing, web design, SEO, and digital advertising — with hands-on training on Google Ads, Meta Business Suite, GA4, and WordPress — culminating in a capstone campaign project, industry internship, and dedicated placement support.
The Faculty and Research division of the Department brings together experienced academicians and dedicated researchers committed to academic excellence and continuous knowledge advancement. Through research activities, publications, and academic collaborations, the department actively promotes a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and professional growth.
