The Department of Commerce with Information Technology organized a Seminar on Indian Knowledge System under the department association Unicorn ’25 on 16/10/2025, titled “Value-Based Entrepreneurship: Indian Perspectives.” The objective of the seminar was to help students understand the strong link between ethical values and entrepreneurial success through the principles of Indian Knowledge Systems, highlighting concepts such as Dharma, Artha, and Seva in promoting responsible and sustainable business practices. The programme aimed to create awareness about indigenous business wisdom rooted in honesty, social welfare, environmental balance, and community development, while encouraging students to integrate traditional Indian values with modern entrepreneurial approaches. A total of 138 students participated in the seminar. The session enabled students to appreciate the importance of ethics and culture in entrepreneurship, gain insights into traditional Indian business philosophies, and apply moral principles in contemporary business practices. Overall, the seminar nurtured leadership qualities, ethical decision-making, and social responsibility, motivating students to become value-driven entrepreneurs who contribute to inclusive growth, environmental harmony, and national development.
