The Youth Red Cross and Red Ribbon Club of KG College of Arts and Science, in association with the Indian Red Cross Society - Youth Red Cross Coimbatore Branch and PSG Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, jointly organized an Awareness Programme on "First Aid Skills, Drug Abuse, and Suicide Prevention" on 11 February 2026 at 9:30 AM in the KGAS III Floor Auditorium.
The session was led by distinguished medical professionals from the Department of Community Medicine, PSG IMS&R, including Dr. K. R. Kerthi Kesavan, Dr. Shamitha, Dr. Shamini, Dr. Shagun, and Dr. Sarvajit. The experts delivered insightful talks on essential first aid techniques, the dangers of substance abuse, and the importance of mental health awareness and suicide prevention.
