The Department of Computer Science (Artificial Intelligence & Data Science) was started in the year 2024. The Department is committed to preparing students to excel in the fast-evolving technology landscape by equipping them with the skills to make data-driven decisions and solve real-world challenges. The programme offers a multidisciplinary foundation in statistics, computer science, machine learning, and logical reasoning.
Students gain the expertise to pursue a wide range of career opportunities in cutting-edge fields, including data science, machine learning engineering, artificial intelligence specialisation, big data analytics, business intelligence development, and cloud data engineering. Graduates are also well-prepared for roles such as AI research scientists, robotics software developers, natural language processing (NLP) engineers, cybersecurity analysts with AI expertise, and IoT solution architects.

To integrate all facets of commerce and management to educate and train innovative and competent human resources globally suitable for industry, business, and service sectors, and to equip and encourage them to start their own ventures in urban or rural areas benefitting both the classes and masses.
The Department offers an undergraduate computer science programme designed to build professional competence in AI and DS, equipping students with the knowledge and skills required to perform effectively in programming, engineering, hardware and software roles.
The curriculum follows the Choice-Based Credit System (CBCS), offering academic flexibility and an outcome-orientated learning approach. It balances core computational principles with specialised training in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science.

About the Data Analytics Lab
An industry-powered lab exclusively for B.Sc. Computer Science (AI&DS) students, run entirely by Board Infinity professionals. Students progress through data science fundamentals, Advanced Excel, Generative AI, and a full BI lab using Power BI and Tableau — culminating in an industry internship and dedicated placement support.
The Faculty and Research division of the Department brings together experienced academicians and dedicated researchers committed to academic excellence and continuous knowledge advancement. Through research activities, publications, and academic collaborations, the department actively promotes a culture of inquiry, critical thinking, and professional growth.
