Biography
Dr. Karthikeyan Sundarasamy is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Electronics and Communication Systems at KG College of Arts and Science. He holds a Ph.D. in Electronics from Bharathiar University, Coimbatore, and has over eleven years of teaching experience in Electronics and Communication Systems. His teaching approach is firmly grounded in Outcome-Based Education (OBE), emphasizing student-centric learning, skill development, and continuous quality improvement. His research interests include Embedded Systems, Nanotechnology, and Thin Film Technology. He has made significant scholarly contributions through sixteen journal publications and fourteen conference paper presentations at national and international forums. He has also authored six academic books supporting learning and research in electronics and related disciplines.
He has actively engaged in sponsored research activities, having submitted one research proposal each to the Science and Engineering Research Board (SERB) and the Tamil Nadu State Council for Science and Technology (TNSCST–DIT). He contributes to academic governance as a member of the Board of Studies and has served as a conference committee member. Committed to continuous professional development, he has completed fifteen NPTEL/MOOC courses and attended twenty-seven Faculty Development Programmes. He has acted as a resource person for six academic programmes, organized six webinars and seminars, and participated in twenty-one webinars and seminars.
Through academic leadership and industry-oriented initiatives, he consistently bridges the gap between curriculum and practical application, contributing to institutional quality enhancement and academic excellence.
