Dr. P. Vijayakumar works as an Associate Professor in the Computer Applications Department. He has 25 years of teaching and research experience. He was a Member of the Senate for 3 years at Bharathiar University. He has published more than 20 research papers and has guided 15 research scholars in their M.Phil and two have completed their Ph.D programs. Acted as a Board of Studies Member in various Autonomous Institutions and organized many workshops, Seminars in national and International Level. In addition, he has also acted as organizing secretary and co-ordinators in various events and programmes. His area of specialization is Data Mining.He has supervised two doctoral graduates, is currently guiding one Ph.D. candidate, and has mentored over 20 M.Phil. scholars.
