AWS DeepRacer Event 2.0
Greetings from KGiSL Educational Institutions.
We are glad to invite you to the Second Edition of AWS DeepRacer Event 2.0 (Autonomous car racing). The league uses reinforcement learning to train models that control miniature race cars and allows participants to compete against each other in virtual and physical races.
Instruction for the participants:
Step 1: Registration
Team Size : 3 (including the team leader)Click here to register nowStep 2: Completion of the DeepRacer Course
The registered participants will receive the course credentials to learn what is DeepRacer and how to participate in the Virtual Track and Physical Track.Timeframe for completing the course: From the registered date to 01.03.2023.Step 3: Virtual Race
The participants who have completed the course will receive the badges and the link to submit their model for Virtual Race.The model can be submitted from 25.02.2023 to 03.03.2023.Step 4: 48 Hours BootCamp
The selected participants from the virtual track will receive the Invitation to participate in the 48 Hours BootCamp. Each team will be guided by an Industry mentor to train your model for Physical Track.The Bootcamp starts on 10.03.2023 @ 5.00 p.m. and ends on 12.03.2023 @ 5.00 p.m.Step 5: Grand Finale
The final Physical Track Race will be conducted on 12.03.2023.All Educational Institutions and Industries shall nominate one faculty member as SPOC and any number of teams for the DeepRacer2.0 League. The event will take place at KGiSL Campus, Saravanampatti, Coimbatore.This is a great opportunity for you to learn about the latest developments in reinforcement learning and autonomous technology and network with other professionals in the field.Awaiting your response through registration.

Joining this esteemed institution, KGCAS, was rather unexpected. Stepping into this college, I kept holding onto the fact that this institution has a good placement record. There was one step to reaching my first goal as a graduate, and that was getting placed in a well-reputed organisation. Owing to the immense support and guidance provided by my teachers, I was able to take that step with flying colours. Thanks to the staff of BBA and a special mention to the SSA department, who brought the best out of me, I have been placed in SSHCL and TCS-SAP. Hello everyone, I am Roshini from 3rd B.Sc. Mathematics. I got placed in Zifo through a recruitment process that had two rounds: an aptitude round and an HR round. The SSA department of KG College of Arts and Science helped me to crack those rounds by providing special training on aptitude and communication, which enhanced my skills. We have regular classes on aptitude and communication, and the placement training classes start in the second year and continue until all students are placed in a good company. We have aptitude and communication tests every day to practise these skills. Additionally, we have a special training class before the recruitment campaign of every company, where the interview process and easy ways of cracking the interview are explained to us. This makes us clearer about the ideas for cracking the interview. I thank my college and the placement training department for their continuous effort and support, which helped me get placed in a top IT company.

The KGCAS institution provided me with excellent education and guidance throughout my academic journey. The placement cell makes the university what it is today, with an organised team and well-versed faculties.
